February Tavern Talk: Coeur d'Alene Brewing Company If you've ever thought about making your own beer, are curious about the beermaking process, or just want a good excuse to go to the Coeur d'Alene Brewery, our next event is for you! Join us for our next Tavern Talk on Wednesday, February 10 at 5:30 p.m. at the Coeur d'Alene Brewery. The Coeur d'Alene Brewing Company brewmaster will be giving us a tour of the brewery and a little beer-making 101. KCYP members receive free admission to the Tavern Talk; non-members will be charged $5 at the door. Food and light snacks will be provided. Learn what it takes to be a valuable board member. Ever considered serving on a Board of Directors? Want to know what to expect or what's expected of you before you step up and volunteer? There are many nonprofits in our community that rely on a volunteer Board of Directors, including Kootenai County Young Professionals. This educational seminar, presented by KCYP in conjuntion with United Way of Kootenai County, is designed to prepare young professionals for serving on a local board. It will provide information on board member responsibilities, what makes a board member valuable, and how you can get involved on a board. This seminar is free for KCYP members and priority registration will be given to members. Non-members will be charged $10. RSVP is required and attendance will be capped. . KCYP Board Member Training Wednesday, March 10 4:00-7:00 PM 3rd Annual Volunteer Fair, April 2010 Join KCYP's planning committee! KCYP is planning it's annual volunteer fair and we need your help! From event planning to media relations and promotions to set up and tear down, this committee will plan the fair from start to finish and will be key to another successful event.
